Baking Instructions
WE MAKE IT, YOU BAKE IT!
Double Crust Pies
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
A pastry brush, an egg, water, a whisk or fork, a bowl, a baking sheet, an oven, and an appetite!
LET’S GET STARTED:
1. Preheat oven to 425˚.
2. Prepare your egg wash: In a bowl, beat 1 whole egg with 1 tablespoon water.
3. Using a pastry brush, apply a thin coating of egg wash to the pie crust. Do not leave any pools of egg wash. If you have a topper to add to your pie, brush egg wash on the underside of the topper and place on top of pie. Don’t forget to add egg wash to the top, too! BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET EGG WASH ON THE OUTER EDGE OF THE CRUST OR IT WILL BURN. DO NOT USE BUTTER.
4. Place pie on a baking sheet and place in oven. Set timer for 55 minutes. Always set a timer!
5. Pies are done when the fruit is boiling inside the pie. The top crust will be moving up and down slightly as the fruit beneath it boils. The color of the crust will be a golden brown and edges will be brown.
6. ENJOY!
Cinnamon Rolls

LET’S GET STARTED:

2. Lightly coat the top side of the paper with pan spray or by rubbing with a stick of butter.
3. Place two cinnamon rolls onto the paper, allowing 2-3”clearance between them and the sides of the sheet pan or baking dish so they have room to expand.
4. Place pan, uncovered, into a cool oven before you go to bed and allow to rise for 7-8 hours.
TAKE A BREAK, A NAP, OR HAVE A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP AND THEN:
5. Remove the pan of unbaked cinnamon rolls from the oven. (After rising, the cinnamon rolls should be about 7” diameter.)
6. Preheat oven to 350º.
